Delivery Policy

Delivery Policy – Kindlift CIC

This Delivery Policy applies to furniture and household items purchased from KindLift CIC that require delivery.

​

1. Delivery charges

We charge the following for local deliveries:

Standard delivery (ground floor / easy access)£20 flat rate

Delivery involving stairs / taking items upstairs£30 flat rate

  • The £10 deposit is required to secure your delivery booking.

  • The deposit is payable when you book the delivery.

  • The remaining delivery fee (£20 or £30) is payable on or before the day of delivery.

2. What is included

  • Delivery of purchased items to an address within our normal service area (Paisley and surrounding local areas).

  • Careful handling of the items by our team.

  • Placement of the items in a ground-floor room (standard delivery) or taking them upstairs where agreed and charged at the higher rate.

3. What is not included

  • Assembly or installation of items

  • Removal of packaging or old furniture

  • Delivery outside our normal local area (please ask us for a quote if needed)

  • Delivery of items that are too large, heavy, or unsuitable for safe handling by our team.

4. Booking a delivery

  1. Pay the £10 deposit to reserve your delivery slot.

  2. We will confirm the delivery date and approximate time.

  3. The remaining delivery charge (£20 or £30) must be paid before or on the day of delivery.

  4. Someone aged 18 or over must be present at the delivery address to accept the items.

5. Customer responsibilities

  • Please ensure clear and safe access to the property (including stairs if upstairs delivery is booked).

  • Remove any obstacles or fragile items from the route the furniture will take.

  • Inform us in advance if there are any access issues (narrow stairs, tight corners, parking restrictions, etc.).

  • Check the items carefully on delivery and note any issues immediately.

6. Cancellations & changes

  • If you need to cancel or change your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • The £10 deposit may be non-refundable if you cancel at short notice (we will confirm this when you book).
